Our beautiful furniture showroom is filled with the largest variety of upholstery and casegoods in the area. All of our items are available right off the showroom floor so the styles are always fresh and new. Special orders are always welcome if you decide to choose a different fabric, leather, or wood finish where available. We have custom bedding with coordinating drapery panels available by special order to dress your new bedroom set in its finest. And don’t forget those finishing touches like lamps, accessories, mirrors, and wall art.
Our flooring department is host to thousands of choices in broadloom carpet, ceramic and porcelain tile, area rugs, wood, and laminate flooring. We carry both residential and commercial flooring in every price range. Our knowledgeable designers can help you create a truly unique look with borders, inlays, coordinating trims, and custom area rugs. We also do bathroom walls and kitchen backsplashes.
Color samples of upholstery and flooring are available or can be ordered for you to take home to ensure your selections coordinate with your existing space.

Color selection, pattern coordination, furniture placement … we do it all! And, our complimentary measure service will take the guesswork out of calculating material needs for your new floor coverings.
Once your order arrives, we take the greatest care in ensuring that your delivery goes as smooth as possible. Mayfair employs its own furniture delivery people. Our kind and courteous delivery team will bring your new furniture in and set it up just the way you like it.
Mayfair also has its own expert installers with over 35 years experience in laying carpet, tile, wood, and laminate flooring.

Mayfair Furniture & Carpet Mayfair Furniture and Carpet has been a family owned and operated business since 1972. From its humble beginnings in Palatine, Illinois, Mayfair expanded into 5 showrooms servicing the northwest suburbs of Chicago. In the 1990s, in order to provide its customers with more personalized service and attention to detail, Mayfair focused their efforts on what is now their only location in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
Originally selling only carpet and hard surface flooring, Mayfair ventured, full force, into the furniture arena in 1994. What began as a flooring store with just a few small regional furniture lines has exploded into one of the area’s most notable one-stop full service home décor destinations for all of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Its 35,000 square foot showroom includes a wide array of home furnishings, area rugs, carpet, wood, and tile for every home.
In keeping with the family tradition, Mayfair is proud to have three generations currently working under one roof. From father and mother, to sons and daughter, to grandson, and several family pets, the business has grown and thrived along with the family.
